1) They possess the knowledge and care to actually develop your players give them new skills teach them fundamentals and actually work on their game. Have a plan for players' development and teach them how to get better.
2) If you were to go to practice, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between how the best player on the team and number 15 on the team were treated. All players are valued after games if their players didn't play their conversations with those players where coaches let them know how valuable they were to the team's success, and they find ways to celebrate each other success
3) The coaches never say anything about the team's performance. They're always in it with their team. They always take the blame and take ownership over what happens on the floor and never just put it on the players they share in the success and the failures of the team
4) They treat their players like human beings. They're not restricting what they eat. They're not being overly controlling again they're treating their players like they're adults who are making choices to be the best they can be
5) They are super conscious of being positive while still coaching players
